Barcelona secure narrow win over Atletico Madrid in La Liga

Ferran Torres’ goal led Barcelona to a narrow victory against Atletico Madrid Sunday on matchday 30 of the Spanish La Liga.

Barcelona scored the winning goal with a right-footed shot at the edge of the penalty arc with Ferran Torres in the 44th minute, assisted by Raphinha at Spotify Camp Nou.

Collecting 76 points, Barcelona are top of the La Liga table 11 points ahead of second-place Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid are in the third spot with 60 points.

In another Sunday match, Valencia tasted a 2-0 win over Elche as two goals came from Samuel Dias Lino and Gonzalo Verdu (own goal) at Martinez Valero.

Valencia are 18th with 30 points and Elche are bottom of the table with 13 points in 30 matches.
