Spain beat Haaland-less Norway 3-0 at EURO 2024

Spain beat Norway 3-0 in a Group A match Saturday in the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship (EURO 2024) qualification round.

Norway had to play Spain without its biggest star, Erling Haaland, who was forced to withdraw Tuesday because of a groin injury.

Dani Olmo’s goal in the 13th minute was the winner for the hosts as Spanish goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga made several vital saves at La Rosaleda in Malaga.

Rapid double goals from Joselu, who made his international debut, in the 84th and 85th minutes, ensured Spain’s victory.

Scotland and Spain, placed first and second in Group A, respectively, both have 3 points.
